Just kidding. Emo is for whining teenagers who have nothing better to do. Like my sibling. No teen angst for me, thank you very much. (Unless it's of the Mr Molko variety, and then I'm game, but that's for another time) I'm 21*/f/Oxford, and am now at Leeds Met Uni. I'm doing Sound Technology and Digital Music, which is just fabulous, if a little bit too much like hardwork. I was at another uni for a while, in what seems like another life. My lifestyle didn't fit in with the ethos of the place, so I swapped and went to a normal university instead. (Apparently there are rules about tutors and wives and things. Tis complicated, and there is a tendancy for the rules to be changed dependent on which side of the road you are looking from).
When I'm not studying, or pretending to work and getting paid very little for the effort, I'm a music junkie. Tis clichéd I know, but music is my drug of choice (as well as caffeine) - "It takes blood and guts to be this cool, but I'm still just a cliche" fits me well. I'm also a big Sylvia Plath fan, hence the username.

Don't be alarmed if I friend you - It usually means I have stumbled across your journal and find it interesting, or it means that I have stumbled across your journal and see we have lots of interests (or enough of the ones I find *really* interesting) in common, or it means there is some other connection - ie you are friend of a friend, live in Oxford and therefore talk about places I know etc etc. Nothing freaky here!
